Mount Gay Eclipse (40%ABV)
Named after the 1910 total solar eclipse that was visible from Barbados. It is a blend of rums distilled in traditional copper pot and column stills, then matured for 2 years solely in American whisky casks. Eclipse is the embodiment of the Mount Gay style with notes of fresh vanilla, almond, ripe banana and dark chocolate. The Eclipse makes an iconic Rum Punch or can be enjoyed with your favourite mixer.

TASTING NOTES
Appearance - Golden amber
Nose - Vanilla, banana, spicy, caramel and summer fruit notes
Palate - Light to medium body and persistence with oaky character and slight burnt notes

Mount Gay Black Barrel (43% ABV)
Crafted from a blend of intense and aromatic rums, distilled in traditional copper pot and column stills, matured between 3 to 7 years in American whisky casks and then, finished for 6 months in deeply charred bourbon casks. The Black Barrel can be enjoyed in craft and classic cocktails such as the Forbidden Cooler (2 Black Barrel, 1.5 Falernum, 1.5 pink/ruby fresh grapefruit juice, splash of soda, pink grapefruit wedge).

TASTING NOTES
Appearance - Dark amber
Nose - Lots of woody and buttery notes. Great balance of dried fruit and spices, a sophisticated spirit with notes of gingerbread, lychee and toffee
Palate - Good balance for a dry spirit with medium to long persistence

Mount Gay XO (43%ABV)
A small-batch blend of carefully selected mature rums. It is distilled in traditional copper pot and column stills and matured between 5 to 17 years in American whisky, bourbon and cognac casks. The XO is round and complex, delivering flavours of salted caramel, baked fig, clove and dark chocolate. The XO can be enjoyed neat or on ice. It’s also excellent served with a coconut water ice-cube or in an Old Fashioned (1 ½ oz. of Mount Gay XO, 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters, teaspoon of liquid honey orange peel).

TASTING NOTES
Appearance - Red/golden brown
Nose - Vanilla, oaky notes, dry spice such as clove, sweet notes such as salted caramel, baked fig and plum, dark chocolate
Palate - Round, smooth and richly creamy. Complex and balanced with long persistence
